The Basics

We are a food cooperative style food bank.  To participate you must be willing to contribute your resources and/or time and/or talents so that we can keep this Food Thing going!   To join you simply come to a food distribution (locations listed here), fill out a form, pay a $35 annual administrative fee and then you can get a box for $6 once per week at your chosen distribution location.  All members are required to volunteer or contribute in some way while they are participating, or in the future when they are in a better position to give back.  

Volunteering is encouraged.  All volunteers must be trained and placed on our volunteer schedule.  One of the benefits of volunteering is that you can get an additional $6 box of food on the day you volunteer.

Who We Serve

We serve the working poor, seniors, people with disabilities and serious illness, veterans and active duty military and their families, under and unemployed, and people experiencing a significant life crises.
